Summer....FUN!!!
When the girls started playing softball this spring our family got busy! We were at the ballpark almost everyday! Then our sweet Haylie was picked "all-stars" and we played on through June! So a quick trip to the beach for state tournaments was the highlight of the season! Watching these grands grow is my most amazing journey to date! Raising your children is fun and sometimes a little crazy but grandchildren are priceless!
Work has evolved and now I'm the "acting" coordinator for our PCT Clinic. Thus, I see patients all day, continue to provide CPT training, and do all the admin stuff! ...and I love it! My job gives me the opportunity to give back to the soldiers and I am so grateful! The traumas that some of our men and women have experienced is outside of anything we can image! It is definitely true..."WAR IS HELL!"
Rusty has been gone to South Dakota now for a month and a half...he will join us in early August for the family vacation and then return back home in September. I miss him dearly but am so glad that he has the opportunity to participate in this trip every year! He has truly paid the price to deserve being able to go.. :)
Currently, the kids and I are hanging out and trying to get the house ready for Chad, Amanda, and their little ones, to come live with me for a few weeks! Yep, that's right! They have sold their house and have found another, "larger," home that will take a little while to be ready! It's crazy around here! In a good way!! Kym and Bart have started thinking about selling their house now...so maybe next time I think to blog it might be them moving in... :)
Until then...I and my family are doing well, despite LIFE trying to get in the way!

It's 2013 and so far...so good!!!
Today is February 1st and I can't believe that we're already this far into 2013!! Life sure goes by fast...whether you're having fun or not! We've got a sweet little girl, Brynlee, that is growing in leaps and bounds! She's 4 months this week!
Thanksgiving and Christmas were very nice and everyone seemed to enjoy the season! Our family traditions are very special to us and brings us great JOY! It was a blessing to have all of our family together, spending time, and just loving each other. How perfect is our life! ...I was able to decorate the house a little extra this year because I took off from work the week after Thanksgiving and got it all done! The house looked absolutely beautiful! We had several small gatherings for friends and family's this year! It was so nice to be able to welcome our sweet friends into our home!
The grand kids and I made our gingerbread house...this year Haylie thought we would call it our "house of Love"! Precious Memories! I started making gingerbread houses with my children and now I get to carry on the tradition with my grands! We also made baked goods and took them to our neighbors as gifts! Haylie and Hannah loved sharing the Christmas season joy with others! So now...we're in 2013!
January...Rusty and I just got back from a week in Las Vegas! We had an absolute blast hanging out with Teresa and KI! We are very "lucky." :))) At any rate, this year is already starting out to be a super fabulous year!!
Today...Work is changing for me almost as I am composing this post! Not sure how things will turn out but stay tuned! :) It's really kind of exciting to wait on what God has planned and how he will use me to further his Glory! I'm ready!!
